Watched almost the entire evening of golf at Turnberry on the Television.
Excellent coverage. Wonderful setting. Windy conditions. Higher scores.
Small hillocks, raised tee offs, saucer shaped greens, the old airstrip, the sea and the rocky sea side with hand gliders. Is it a pretty picture or what??
Two important things:
Tom Watson, the likable 59 year old, five time champion still leads with a five under overall score.
Tiger Woods, the most followed player in modern golf in out of the open.
Two more days to go and predictions of a Tiger victory have already fallen flat.
The Claret Jug awaits the winner's sip. Let the best man win.
