Cristiano Ronaldo had a dream unveiling at 'Bernabeu' on Monday 6th Jul 2009.The star was overwhelmed by the record 80,000 attendance at the occasion but the security had a tough time handling the pitch invasions and finally had to whisk away the player to safety.
Cristiano will play wearing the # 9 jersey at Real Madrid. Earlier he had preferred # 7. He plays in # 7 for Portugal and also played in the same # 7 for Manchester United. He also has a clothing line with the moniker CR7.

Cristiano played down the number issue. He said "I wanted # 7 but 9 is also a mythical number, it always makes me happy. "
