YELENA ISENBAYEVA IS BACK

Thank God she is back.

Yelena who had departed in tears after the miserable no jump in Berlin is back with a bang.

At Zurich, Weltklasse meeting on 28th August, she won the competition with a jump of 4.81metres and then as if to prove something to herself she raised the bar to 5.06 meters and cleared it for her 27th world record.

If there is a superwoman in Polevaulting she is. I for one would have stopped watching women polevaulting if Yelana had not come back.

Congratulations and thank you for coming back. Pole vault would never be as glamorous in your absence.
