Lionel Messi the guy who runs through any defence with the football tied to his bootlaces has been officially recognized as the "European ClubFootballer of the Year" and "European Club Forward of the Year".
When he won the Club Forward he was rated as better than Cristiano Ronaldo and Samuel Eto'o. Not an easy victory.
When he won the Club Footballer he was rated as better than Edwin van der Sar, John Terry and Xavi Hernandez. Once again tough competition.
The dimunitive forward has been mesmerizing the football world with his skills and humble attitude.
He is a real hero and an example to follow. His association with FC Barcelona is also worth reading.
